ChessUA Club Open Results. (Feb. 14-16)

Hey, guys! Huge thanks for supporting our first-ever classical chess tournament at ChessUA Club in Brantford! 11 players were registered. We played a 6-round Swiss tournament, where one player had a 1-point bye. The whole tournament was run smoothly, thanks to you, friends!

Congrats to Niketic Vucan, he is the Champion with an excellent result of 6 out of 6! He won our beautiful trophy and 250 CAD in cash! 2 nd place took Singh Himmat with 5 out of 6 points. His prize is a medal and 150 CAD in cash. 3rd place went to young talent Suresh Arjun, with 4 out of 6 points. His prize is a medal and a chess book. The best unrated player is Kiril Maslov. His prize is a gift certificate valued at CAD 100. And the best player in the U1500 section is Koenig Josh. His prize is a medal and a chess book.

In total, we played 30 games for 3 days. White won 16 games and Black 14. No one drew at all! It was a great event, guys! Thanks again for your participation!
